Mechanism Is a Peak-Hour Safety Valve
Drivers fear boom strikes; properties fear two repairs a day. Barrier mechanism talk reduces to three points: anti-smash strategy, raise/lower stability, and durability under high frequency.
YunCitys entry barrier (DC brushless advertising gate, ref. YCP-GATE-DC-AD-01) treats these as configurable field capabilities, not only a render.

Anti-Smash: Adjustable Speed Beats Slogans
Anti-smash is a policy mix: independently slower lower speed, aligned recognition-to-raise timing, remote/manual intervention on exceptions, and optional loop/radar sensing per project.
Fast raise and safe lower are often both required on one lane. Independently adjustable raise/lower speeds let sites set risk preference instead of one global speed.
Stability: Drive and Power Shape Feel
DC 24V brushless drive with 200W motor suits continuous cycles. External remote input is supported; two remotes and three springs ship standard for boom length/load matching.
Ops also cares whether remotes are usable, springs are serviceable, and ad lights auto-enable at night via photosensitive control.
Durability: Outdoor Weather Is the Long Exam
Wind, ice, and rust protection affect return rates. Cabinet about 1200×450×360mm with ~4m boom package must match clearance and vehicle mix—too short hurts passage, too long raises wind load and mechanical stress.

Good Mechanisms Still Need Recognition and Platform Acceptance
If recognition jitter causes repeated useless cycles, mechanism life still burns. Accept together:
- Normal traffic timing
- Exception / no-plate handling drills
- Heat and noise after continuous cycles
- Platform status/alert sync
YunCitys includes barrier, ANPR all-in-one, and YunParking so anti-smash, stability, and durability become operable outcomes.
Share lane width, peak hourly volume, and advertising needs to match boom type, springs, and speed policy.
